VP of Finance develops capital strategy, financial planning, and infrastructure while serving as strategic partner to executive leadership.

Exec Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Offchain, we aren’t just building products: we’re leading a movement.

As pioneers in blockchain scalability and security, we’re at the forefront of transforming how the world interacts with decentralized applications. We’re laying the foundation that will define the next generation of digital commerce, governance, and human interaction. This involves tackling real-world challenges that come with scaling blockchain technology, without compromising on its core principles: decentralization, security and transparency.

At the center of this vision is our people. Our team is made up of thinkers and doers that embrace new challenges and seek solutions that push existing boundaries. If you’re energized by solving unprecedented problems, and believe in the role that decentralized systems will play in creating a more equitable digital future, then we want to hear from you.

Why Offchain?

Offchain is setting the pace for the entire Ethereum ecosystem. We built the Arbitrum stack that powers Arbitrum One, the most widely adopted Ethereum scaling solution that exists today.

Arbitrum’s ecosystem is undergoing tremendous growth with hundreds of projects and dApps on Arbitrum One today. Over 100 different teams have used Offchain technology to build their own Arbitrum chains. Major players in the space, Robinhood, BlackRock, Ethena Labs, Securitize, Aave, and Apechain are all using the Arbitrum stack.

Arbitrum’s thriving ecosystem wouldn’t exist without our advanced technology stack. Arbitrum, Prysm, ZeroDev. These aren’t just product names. These are tools that are actively reshaping what’s possible on Ethereum and advancing its core infrastructure.

To top it all off? We’re backed by $124 million in funding. We’ve demonstrated consistent execution with billions in secured value, thousands of supported projects, and infrastructure processing millions of transactions seamlessly.

The Role

  • We are seeking a VP of Finance to serve as a key strategic architect of Offchain’s financial future. In this role, you will act as a vital partner to the executive team to drive capital strategy and long-term financial planning. Getting into the details, you will provide a deep assessment of the status quo and an execution plan on how to improve.
  • This leader will institutionalize our financial infrastructure, and will provide the sophisticated clarity required to navigate the complexities of a scaling global ecosystem. You are a visionary who is equally comfortable in the boardroom and the details, capable of transforming financial data into a competitive advantage.

What you’ll do:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Architect the long-term financial roadmap for Offchain, ensuring our fiscal strategy aligns with ambitious growth targets and ecosystem evolution.
  • Capital & Treasury Stewardship: Lead complex treasury management and capital allocation strategies, optimizing liquidity and risk in a high-growth, digital-asset-centric environment.
  • Institutionalize Governance: Establish enterprise-level standards for financial reporting, audit readiness, and internal controls, transforming the finance function into a pillar of institutional credibility.
  • Executive Partnership: Serve as a core advisor to the executive team, providing data-driven insights and financial modeling that drive high-stakes decision-making and business model optimization.
  • Organizational Scaling: Design and implement a scalable financial tech stack and data infrastructure that automates routine reconciliations and provides real-time visibility into global performance.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead high-impact, cross-departmental initiatives—from M&A activity to complex tax structuring, ensuring all workstreams meet the highest standards of financial rigor.
  • Audit & Stakeholder Management: Own relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and strategic partners, ensuring seamless compliance and sophisticated reporting in a complex regulatory landscape.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven Executive Tenure: 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, with significant scale-up experience in high-growth technology environments.
  • Strategic Visionary: A track record of moving beyond the “numbers” to influence company strategy, fundraising, and organizational design at the Board and executive levels.
  • High-Agency Leadership: Experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing finance and accounting teams from the ground up.
  • Advanced Financial Architecture: Mastery of complex financial modeling, including the ability to synthesize multifaceted data sets into clear, actionable executive narratives.
  • Operational Excellence: The ability to instill structure and discipline in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment without sacrificing the agility required for a scaling startup.
  • Exceptional Communication: Poise and clarity when presenting to the Board, investors, and external regulatory bodies, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Deep Web3 / Crypto Professional or Personal Experience: A sophisticated understanding of the crypto landscape, including treasury management of digital assets and the nuances of blockchain-native financial operations.

Perks:

  • Remote-first global workforce + NY office
  • Annual company offsite + team onsites
  • Professional reimbursement program (facilitates industry conference attendance, certifications, and more)
  • Medical, dental & vision coverage (US + some other countries)
  • 401k retirement plan + company match (US only)
  • Wellness stipend
  • Home office set up / ergonomic equipment program

Attention Offchain Job Seekers:

This role cannot be performed in California, or Colorado.

Please be advised that there has been a rise in fraudulent recruiter activities, particularly within the Web3 space. If you would like to confirm whether someone is an Offchain employee or the legitimacy of an offer you received, please email [email protected]

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an experienced General Manager to lead and scale their International Moving Division, specializing in international household goods relocations and freight forwarding.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone with deep international moving industry experience. You’ll oversee the full operation — from sales, pricing, and quoting through international shipping, customs, destination services, operations, and customer experience.

You’ll lead multiple departments, improve operational performance, coach teams, establish KPIs, strengthen processes, and work directly with ownership on growth and strategic initiatives.

This role requires significant direct experience in international household goods moving. Candidates without this industry background will not be considered.

  • Lead the day-to-day performance of the International Moving Division

  • Oversee international household goods relocations from origin through destination

  • Manage workflows involving:

    • Ocean freight
    • Air freight
    • Customs procedures
    • International documentation
    • Destination services
    • Pricing and quoting

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions

  • Maintain strong service quality while improving efficiency and scalability

Sales, Pricing & Revenue Growth

  • Oversee sales and pricing performance
  • Improve sales processes and conversion rates
  • Coach sales representatives to strengthen close rates and customer experience
  • Review pricing and quoting strategies
  • Ensure quotes remain competitive while supporting healthy margins
  • Monitor pipeline performance and sales KPIs
  • Partner with ownership on growth opportunities and expansion initiatives

Team Leadership & Performance

Lead and develop teams across:

  • Sales
  • Operations
  • Pricing
  • Sales Support
  • Customer Service

You’ll:

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage remote employees
  • Establish clear expectations and accountability
  • Coach managers and individual contributors
  • Conduct performance reviews and ongoing development
  • Build a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Customer Experience & Escalations

  • Maintain high customer service standards throughout the relocation lifecycle
  • Step into complex or escalated customer situations when necessary
  • Resolve service issues professionally and efficiently
  • Identify recurring customer pain points and address root causes
  • Improve communication and visibility throughout the customer journey
  • Balance customer satisfaction with operational and commercial requirements

KPIs, SOPs & Process Improvement

  • Establish clear KPIs across departments

  • Monitor:

    • Revenue and sales performance
    • Close rates
    • Operational efficiency
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Service quality
    • Team productivity
  • Develop and improve SOPs and operational workflows

  • Transportation Management System (TMS) experience

What this role involves

About Tailscale

Tailscale is building the new Internet by delivering software that makes it easy to securely interconnect people and their devices, no matter where they are. From hobbyists to multinational corporations, teams of every size use Tailscale each day to protect their networks, share access to internal tools, and more. We’re building a future for the Internet that’s easy, sensible, and safe, like it used to be. Founded in 2019 and fully distributed, we’re backed by Accel, CRV, Insight, Heavybit, and Uncork Capital.

Tailscale is redefining secure networking by making it simple for organizations to securely connect people, devices, and workloads anywhere in the world.

At Tailscale, we’re solving one of the most fundamental challenges in modern infrastructure: secure connectivity. Our product is loved by developers, trusted by IT and security teams, and rapidly expanding within organizations of every size. As adoption accelerates, we are investing in a regional sales motion that matches the scale of our ambition across EMEA.

We are looking for a founding Sales Director, EMEA to build and lead one of Tailscale’s most important growth initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to shape how a category-leading company enters and scales a major region, develops strategic customer and partner relationships, recruits an exceptional team, and creates the operating model for long-term growth.

About the Role

You will be a regional leader, seller, coach, and builder. You will own the EMEA sales strategy and lead teams across multiple customer segments, while personally helping advance the region’s most important opportunities and executive relationships.

You will define regional priorities, territory and segment strategy, hiring plans, outbound and expansion motions, and the operating cadence for the business. You will also help spearhead partnerships across the region, including channel, cloud, technology, and strategic alliance relationships that can accelerate customer acquisition and expansion.

Initially, you will lead a focused team of Account Executives across multiple segments and work closely with Customer Engineering, RevOps, Marketing, GTM Engineering, and Executive Leadership. As the business grows, you will play a central role in scaling the team, developing frontline leaders, and building the regional organization.

This UK-based role reports directly to the President and offers the opportunity to build Tailscale’s EMEA sales organization from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Build the EMEA Business

  • Lead  the current team and build the EMEA sales organization and go-to-market motion.
  • Develop the regional strategy, operating model, territory design, account segmentation, and coverage plan across multiple sales segments.
  • Set clear regional priorities and translate company goals into executable plans for new business, expansion, and partnerships.
  • Establish repeatable playbooks that reflect the needs of customers and markets across the UK and broader EMEA region.
  • Provide regional market insight that helps shape company strategy, product priorities, and investment decisions.

Lead From the Front

  • Personally support and, when appropriate, lead Tailscale’s highest-value and most strategic EMEA opportunities.
  • Develop trusted executive relationships with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, infrastructure leaders, security leaders, and business executives.
  • Serve as the regional executive sponsor and quarterback for complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Coach teams on discovery, qualification, account strategy, executive engagement, negotiation, and deal execution.
  • Navigate technical, commercial, legal, procurement, and executive stakeholders to drive successful customer outcomes.

Lead and Scale Multiple Segments

  • Lead Account Executives serving multiple customer segments, from commercial and mid-market organizations through enterprise and accounts.
  • Create differentiated motions, coverage models, and performance expectations appropriate to each segment.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop exceptional sales talent across the region.
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, curiosity, customer value, and continuous learning.
  • Develop future leaders and create the management structure required as the EMEA organization scales.

Build Regional Partnerships

  • Help define and execute the EMEA partnership strategy alongside the Partnerships organization and Executive Leadership.
  • Identify markets and customer segments where partners can accelerate awareness, pipeline creation, implementation, and expansion.
  • Create clear rules of engagement, joint account plans, and co-selling motions with priority partners.
  • Represent Tailscale with senior partner executives and at relevant regional customer and industry events.

Create Pipeline and Regional Awareness

  • Lead an outbound-first and account-based sales motion across the region.
  • Personally build executive relationships within high-priority accounts and partner ecosystems.
  • Partner with SDRs, Marketing, GTM Engineering and Partnerships to create qualified pipeline.
  • Build scalable account planning, prospecting, event, community, and partner-sourced pipeline programs.
  • Ensure the region develops a balanced pipeline across customer segments, products, countries, and sources.

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Own regional forecasting, pipeline health, hiring plans, and performance management.
  • Establish a rigorous operating cadence across forecast reviews, pipeline creation, deal inspection, account planning, and talent development.
  • Use data to identify trends, improve execution, allocate resources, and communicate regional performance to leadership.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to provide structured customer and market feedback from EMEA.
  • Build the metrics, processes, and cross-functional relationships required to scale the organization effectively.

What We Are Looking For

  • An experienced sales leader who has built or materially scaled a high-growth SaaS business in EMEA.
  • A proven leader of teams spanning multiple customer segments, with the judgment to adapt the sales motion by segment and market.
  • A builder who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, limited infrastructure, and significant ownership.
  • A strong seller and coach with a consistent record of winning complex new-business and expansion opportunities.
  • Experienced in recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing Account Executives and sales leaders.
  • Demonstrated success building outbound pipeline and establishing repeatable regional go-to-market motions.
  • Experienced developing channel, technology, cloud, reseller, or strategic partnership relationships in EMEA.
  • Executive presence and credibility with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and senior business leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and experience navigating complex buying committees, procurement processes, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Deep familiarity with the UK and broader EMEA technology market; additional European language skills are valuable but not required.
  • Based in the United Kingdom and able to travel throughout EMEA as needed.

You’ll Thrive Here If You…

  • Want to build a region rather than inherit a mature organization.
  • Enjoy leading from the front while creating leverage through managers, teams, and partners.
  • Can balance strategic planning with hands-on customer and deal leadership.
  • Are energized by developing different sales motions for commercial, mid-market, enterprise, and strategic customers.
  • See partnerships as a core growth lever rather than a separate or secondary function.
  • Want to leave a lasting impact on how a category-leading company expands internationally.

As a company, we strive to maintain fair and equitable compensation practices within our team across all roles and all levels. Tailscale’s compensation package includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The salary range displayed on each job posting represents the target range for a new hire’s base salary. Individual offers may vary based on experience and skill set.

£260,000—£300,000 GBP

  • A competitive total compensation package. This includes a base salary, an equity incentive plan and variable commission (for quota-based roles).
  • Comprehensive group benefits with no waiting period. Take advantage of coverage for health, vision, dental, and more for you and your family!
  • Remote first company—most of our teams work fully remotely. Enjoy a change of scenery wherever you can get wifi, participate in virtual and in-person social events, and leverage our corporate co-working program to visit WeWork (or other similar spaces near you). Some roles require in-office collaboration depending on team needs, which will be clearly noted in the job description.
  • Employer-funded retirement contributions. Tailscale will match your retirement contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum annual employer contribution equal to 0.75% of your eligible compensation.
  • Connect with other Tailscalars IRL. Attend our annual company retreat, participate in team off-sites, and collaborate in person with teammates across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. We support intentional in-person connection through team travel and distributed collaboration.
  • Support for your personal and professional development. Grow your career thoughtfully with $1500 USD annually for professional development, or take advantage of mentorship, coaching, and internal promotion opportunities.
  • Paid time off and a healthy work-life integration. Our flexible, paid time off program supports you for any situation life throws your way, whether moving homes or travelling the world!
  • A build-your-own home office setup. You choose your own company-owned laptop (Mac or PC), receive a monthly home internet reimbursement, and $500 USD to customize your workstation to make it your own.
  • Paid parental leave program. We care about your life outside of work and encourage new parents to take advantage of parental leave top-ups (20 weeks for birthing parents, 16 weeks for non-birthing parents).

Research Senior Director of Policy and Research at Economic Security Project

Senior leader directs policy research strategy, team management, and coalition-building efforts to advance economic security initiatives.

Exec Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Description

IMPORTANT: This role can only be applied for via the Maneva Group website. Do not submit an application through this form or through other job board websites (e.g., LinkedIn Jobs, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc.).

The Economic Security Project (ESP) is seeking a Senior Director of Policy and Research to help lead its policy team. This is a senior leadership role in which the Senior Director will partner closely with the Vice President of Policy and Research to manage the department, from setting strategy and priorities to overseeing the budget and developing program managers.

The Senior Director will build a strong team and advance an ambitious policy and research agenda aimed at rebuilding economic security for working people. In this role, they will propose and direct original research, policy briefs, and factsheets, oversee a research fellowship program, and help drive ESP’s movement-building efforts—cultivating support for new economic ideas while representing the organization to partners, policymakers, and the public.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in economic policy, a track record of strategic coalition building, and a proven ability to mentor and manage high-performing teams. They possess a sharp analytical mind, navigating complex legislative landscapes with ease while translating bold economic concepts into actionable policy wins and public campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management (30%)

  • Oversee the workflows that create our research and policy products and events and manage several program managers responsible for executing that work.

  • Set short-term and long-term priorities across the team’s portfolio toward the highest-impact work.

  • Coach, mentor, and develop program managers, including through regular feedback and support for their career growth.

  • Serve as a member of the Senior Team, working as a connector across the organization, including campaigns, communications, and development, to make sure our work is well aligned.

  • Build an inclusive, mission-driven team culture, modeling ESP’s core values in their everyday work and approach to team-building.

Policy Research Leadership and Strategy (50%)

  • Develop team strategy, helping align our work for maximum impact in the short term, while aiming towards longer-term change over three to five years.

  • Propose, plan, and execute projects to advance our work at the federal and state level.

  • Oversee commissioned policy and research projects with external research partners.

  • Support ESP colleagues in producing and understanding research relevant to their work, including by synthesizing external research for internal and external audiences, producing updated research, policy briefs, and factsheets.

  • Support the ESP team in writing or preparing for events or media opportunities related to research.

  • Work with ESP’s executive and development teams to support fundraising via writing and meeting with funders.

  • Ensure the methodological quality, analytical rigor, and strength of arguments in what we produce and that policy initiatives draw on diverse expertise and the experiences of affected communities.

External Engagement and Ideas Advocacy (20%)

  • Develop and lead initiatives to advance new economic policy ideas, with a particular emphasis on building broader external support across partners for our agenda.

  • Build and sustain partnerships with academics, think tanks, advocacy organizations, community-based groups, and peer organizations to share our work and build support.

  • Provide technical assistance to policymakers and partner groups on policy impacts and policy design.

  • Partner with our ESP events team to host workshops, convenings, and meetings that bring partners together around our agenda.

The Economic Security Project (ESP) advocates for ideas that build economic power for all Americans by legitimizing bold concepts through cutting-edge research and the elevation of key champions. By winning concrete policy victories for communities in immediate need and provoking conventional wisdom, the organization actively shifts the boundaries of what is considered possible in the economic landscape. Their diverse team of academics, organizers, practitioners, and culture makers facilitates this change by disbursing grants, running targeted issue campaigns, developing creative interventions, and convening leaders to spur broader investment and collective action.

By convening thousands through strategic briefings and marquee events, ESP has successfully set a bold agenda for a more just political economy. Their advocacy led to the modernization of tax codes in over seven states and secured more than $1 trillion in direct relief for families during the pandemic, including a pivotal federal campaign for the expanded Child Tax Credit. These cash-based interventions famously “defied gravity” by reducing poverty in the midst of a recession. Beyond policy wins, they have fortified the field by investing over $25 million into groundbreaking research, grassroots coalitions, and narrative interventions that advance racial and economic justice. Through these efforts, they have moved once-radical ideas into the mainstream, championing a vision where individuals possess the agency to be the true authors of their own lives.

The Economic Security Project fosters a high-performance, remote-first culture rooted in accountability and growth. Committed to diversity and inclusion, ESP ensures its policies are informed by diverse lived experiences while investing heavily in professional development. ESP supports employee well-being through flexible remote work, regular office closures, and a five-year sabbatical program, balancing rigorous strategic planning with in-person connection and a spirited office culture.

Requirements

Leadership & Competency Expectations

The ideal candidate will be outcome-oriented and bring a deep commitment to Economic Security Project’s mission.

While no single candidate will bring every competency, strong candidates will offer many of the following desired attributes:

  • Solid track record in leading projects and developing colleagues, and readiness to take on formal management of a diverse team.

  • Policy expertise in economic security, with familiarity with the economics and evidence on fixing broken markets (regulation, competition) and broken incomes (social insurance, taxes, wages).

  • Careful editor and persuasive writer capable of distilling complex ideas for policy and public audiences.

  • Proven track record of leadership and moving people on issues.

  • Extensive experience liaising with policy experts, legislative staff, and government officials on economic policy issues.

  • On top of the most current trends and debates on the economy.

  • Strategist who enjoys seeking out new opportunities and is proactive in forming the right partnerships to advance our goals; familiarity with the economic policy, think tank, and advocacy community in Washington, DC.

  • Excited to shift conventional wisdom on economic issues and develop ambitious ideas to improve people’s lives.

  • Experience managing a departmental or project budget, with the ability to strategically allocate resources to maximize programmatic impact.

  • Previous roles analyzing research, legislation, and white papers to identify the most important information and translate implications for different bodies of work.

  • Collaborative team player who is strategic and solutions-oriented.

  • Proactive self-starter who follows through, cares about outcomes and results, and approaches their work with rigor.

  • Comfort with public speaking and presentations on policy topics.

Operations Vice President of Operations - Digital Agency at Urban Insight

Vice President of Operations leads delivery organization and internal operations for a digital agency, managing project execution, resource allocation, and strategic business execution.

Exec Remote Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

This role is for someone who has led delivery or operations inside a digital agency or studio that builds websites, web apps, or custom software for clients. That experience is the core requirement. Who We Are

Urban Insight is a leading digital agency creating innovative websites and web applications for organizations that make a difference. We specialize in solving complex problems through website strategy, design and development using open source content management systems (primarily, Drupal and WordPress, and headless architectures). Our clients include some of the most well known museums, nonprofits, universities, cities and more.

Urban Insight has been in business for 25+ years and continues to expand each year. We thrive on having a professionally rewarding environment where team members are encouraged to grow.

Opportunity

The Vice President of Operations (remote, U.S. based position) reports directly to the CEO and is the company’s number two. As the VP of Ops you will have two core responsibilities: (1) be the operational catalyst and strategic navigator of our organization and (2) lead the delivery organization as our core revenue engine.

In this pivotal role, you will be a thought partner to the CEO and executive team in driving the company forward. You will lead the efficient execution of our business strategies, ensuring the seamless integration of our operations, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Revenue functions sit within your view from day one, but they are a secondary priority. Your first mandate is to strengthen delivery and internal operations. As those mature, you will take on a larger operational role across the revenue functions.

This role is ideal for a motivated, energetic leader with a high sense of urgency who wants to help take an organization to the next level.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Leadership: Own the delivery organization as a revenue-generating engine: accountable for project execution quality, on-time and on-budget performance, resource allocation, and margin. Define delivery standards, own capacity planning against project demand, and ensure the PM function is structured and resourced to lead complex engagements end to end.
  • Business Cadence & Strategic Execution: Own and operate the company’s planning and execution system (EOS) annual goal-setting, quarterly rock planning, and weekly leadership rhythms. Translate strategic direction into clear execution plans, drive the leadership team to results, and hold leaders accountable to their commitments. Serve as a thought partner to the CEO on strategy and the operational levers that enable sustainable revenue growth.
  • Internal Operations: Develop and scale internal processes and systems across the business (tooling, workflow, and admin), ensuring the organization runs efficiently and can support continued growth.
  • Talent & Culture: Own recruiting, onboarding, and performance management to consistently hire and retain A players at every level. Lead employee engagement and culture as an ongoing operational function. Own the employee experience from hire to departure, including the HR processes that support it.
  • Operations & Business Metrics: Own the company’s operational performance metrics including utilization, project margin, revenue mix, pipeline health, and capacity. Build visibility into the right agency levers, interpret trends, and drive data-informed decisions that optimize how the business performs with its current resources.
  • Leadership & Management: Coach and develop the next layer of leaders into effective department owners. Close the gap between strategy and execution by ensuring leaders have clear plans, the right support structure, and real accountability for results.
  • Revenue Functions: As a secondary priority to delivery, coach and manage sales, business development, marketing and estimating functions to drive profitable new business via RFPs and direct sales, and harmonious and consistent handoff from sales to delivery.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of operations and leadership experience, including time operating as a senior leader reporting to a COO or CEO.
  • At least half of those years in a digital agency or studio that builds websites, web apps, or custom software for clients (such as a web or digital design agency, software consultancy, or product studio), with 20 to 150 employees. Experience with WordPress and/or Drupal projects is a plus.
  • Direct experience leading the delivery of complex website and web application projects, including client interactions and relationships.
  • Demonstrated success building and running internal and people operations that supported profitable growth.
  • Proven leadership of a multi-team organization, with accountability for managing managers (not only individual contributors).
  • Exposure to revenue functions in an agency context.

Success Metrics

In the first 90 days:

  • Develop gap analysis of key areas for improvement and investment for the Company, with a focus on delivery.
  • Deliver a one-year project plan with a clearly prioritized set of initiatives to improve and enhance key functional areas that you lead.
  • Ownership of short-term and long-term forecasting.

In the first year:

  • Delivery: Project margin improved by 3 to 5 percent year over year. On-time and on-budget delivery measured consistently and trending up.
  • Operations: Utilization, capacity, and pipeline health measured and reported on a regular cadence, with clear targets in place.
  • Client operations: Gross and net client and revenue retention consistently measured and held at 90 to 95 percent. A growing roster of reference-able clients and strong client satisfaction scores.
  • People and culture: Top performers engaged and retained, with employee retention consistently measured and maintained.
  • Leadership: Development plans created for each direct report, with accountability for completion.
  • Revenue Functions (as the secondary mandate activates): A consistent, documented sales-to-delivery handoff, a clear business development process and operations, and timely, high-quality completion of estimates and proposals.

Location & Availability

  • This position is available for fully remote or hybrid work. Our office is located in sunny Los Angeles, CA.
  • We ask for core overlap from 9am to 3pm Pacific so the leadership team can collaborate in real time; the balance of the day is flexible across U.S. time zones.

Compensation

  • Total annual compensation $160,000-200,000 (salary + target bonus [based on company and personal performance])
  • Paid time off (20 days off)
  • Holiday time off (10 days per year).
  • Health, Dental and Vision insurance (95% employer-paid for you).
  • Company-sponsored 401(k) plan with employer match (after 90 days).

Product Director of AI and Educational Technology, Global Institute at Grupo de PolĂticas PĂşblicas LATAM

Director sets strategic direction for AI and educational technology initiatives, manages portfolio of programs connecting global educators, and leads partnerships with AI companies and funders.

Exec Posted 6 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Position Summary

As the Global Institute’s work expands, AI has become central to that vision: a force reshaping classrooms and systems, and a tool for connecting practitioners at scale. Launched in November 2025, the AI Literacy & Creator Collective has grown to 1,810 education practitioners across 93 countries, moving educators from dependency on AI tools built elsewhere to agency as co-architects of AI’s role in their own classrooms.

The Director of AI and Educational Technology will provide strategic and operational leadership across the Global Institute’s AI and EdTech portfolio:

  • AI Literacy & Creator Collective
  • The Better Future Hub
  • The AI EdTech Entrepreneur Community.

The role sets direction, builds team capacity, secures resources, and represents the GI’s AI and EdTech agenda to senior leadership, network partners, and external funders.

About the Global Institute

The Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future fosters global learning among people committed to reshaping education so that young people can shape a better future. By engaging practitioners across borders, the GI surfaces and spreads what works, building leadership while generating new evidence, tools, and resources that accelerate collective progress toward a shared vision: that all children have the education and support to shape a better future.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive the AI and EdTech vision for the Global Institute, refining and implementing a strategy that aligns the AI Literacy & Creator Collective, the Better Future Hub, and the AI EdTech Entrepreneur Community with the GI’s broader AI learning agenda.
  • Lead the integration of the AI Literacy & Creator Collective into the Global Institute, overseeing its evolution into a more deeply integrated next phase (AI LCC 2.0) and its migration onto the Better Future Hub.
  • Set the strategic direction and product roadmap for the Better Future Hub, the GI’s public-facing knowledge commons.
  • Continuously evaluate the evolving needs of the network and the impact of the GI’s AI and EdTech work, using these insights to sharpen strategy and resource allocation.

Building Strategic Relationships and Partnerships

  • Support the Chief Learning Officer in cultivating and managing  partnerships with frontier AI companies, technology funders, and platform providers (including Anthropic, Atlassian, Zoom, and others) to expand network access to AI tools, training, and infrastructure.
  • Serve as a point of contact for funding proposals tied to the AI and EdTech portfolio, ensuring concept notes and learning agenda documents remain coherent and legible across multiple funders.
  • Work with the Chief Learning Officer and Director of the Global Institute to align AI and EdTech strategy with broader organizational priorities and donor relationships.
  • Support the development of regional chapters of the AI Literacy & Creator Collective, working with network partners to extend the model into new geographies.

Facilitating Strong Network Learning

  • Foster a vibrant, global learning community of educators, alumni, and network staff engaging with AI, ensuring the AI Literacy & Creator Collective continues to scale its reach and depth of engagement.
  • Lead the strategic launch of the AI EdTech Entrepreneur Community, defining its purpose, membership model, and connection to the GI’s broader mission and learning agenda.
  • Oversee the content strategy, taxonomy, and editorial workflow for the Better Future Hub, ensuring resources are discoverable, well-organized, and useful to a global, multilingual audience.
  • Champion a learning culture that treats educators as co-architects of AI in education, not passive recipients of tools built elsewhere.

External Engagement and Thought Leadership

  • Serve, alongside the Chief Learning Officer of AI and EdTech, as an internal and external point person for the GI’s AI and EdTech work, including identifying speakers for engagements and supporting public-facing communications.
  • Represent the Global Institute at public moments, including the UNGA showcase and other global convenings, articulating the GI’s distinct approach to AI and educational equity.
  • Elevate the perspectives of network educators and alumni in global AI and EdTech conversations, advocating for equitable, contextually grounded approaches to AI in education.
  • Support board-level reporting and senior stakeholder updates on the AI and EdTech portfolio as required.

Team and Operational Leadership

  • Build and lead a team supporting the AI and EdTech portfolio, beginning with a dedicated AI Specialist, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance against shared goals.
  • Oversee day-to-day execution across the portfolio, including budget development for the Better Future Hub and AI LCC 2.0, content production, and planning of flagship learning experiences and events.
  • Manage delivery against key performance indicators for funder-supported projects, in close collaboration with finance, network partners, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Capture and analyze impact data and success stories across the portfolio to inform strategy and support donor and board communications.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive leadership experience in educational technology, AI integration, or global educational transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder strategic initiatives across global markets or distributed networks.
  • Proven track record in product strategy, content management, or digital platform oversight (knowledge commons/hubs).
  • Experience cultivating strategic partnerships with corporate tech partners, donors, and philanthropic foundations.
  • Technical fluency in generative AI applications, EdTech infrastructure, and pedagogical frameworks.
  • Strong team leadership skills with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing staff.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting at international conferences or board-level meetings.

Additional Desirable Skills / Experiences

  • Deep familiarity with Teach For All’s network model and global approach.
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English (e.g., Spanish, French, Arabic).
  • Prior experience designing entrepreneurship communities or global incubator programs.

Research Senior Director of Policy and Research at Economic Security Project

Senior leader directs policy research strategy, manages research teams, and develops policy briefs and original research to advance economic security initiatives.

Exec Posted 7 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product

  • Familiarity with quantitative methods and experience working in a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Stata, Python).

Location, Compensation & Benefits

The Economic Security Project is a virtual office with staff across the country. This role is Remote.

The salary range for this position is $160,000 – $195,000, depending on experience and location. This role includes a comprehensive benefits package.
