Engineer Senior Data Engineer at Nansen

Design, build, and scale high-performance data pipelines and infrastructure handling terabytes of blockchain data daily using ClickHouse, Postgres, Python, and dbt.

Senior Remote Posted about 2 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Talent Wanted. For hazardous journey. Small wages, bitter cold, long months of complete darkness, constant danger, safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in case of success.

Fridtjof Nansen crossed the Arctic, going places no human had ever been. Together with our users, we’re doing the same onchain: charting entirely new territory.

Nansen is the onchain analytics platform traders and funds use to see what’s actually happening on-chain. We label and track 500M+ blockchain addresses, the largest such dataset in the industry.

Our mission: Surface the signal and create winners.

This seat also comes with a defined runway: you’ll start as an IC, with a clear path to Engineering Manager within 12–18 months for the right person.

What you’ll do at Nansen

You’ll work with data engineers and ML engineers to build the data infrastructure that powers Nansen’s customer-facing analytics product.

  • Design, build, and scale data pipelines and infrastructure in ClickHouse, Postgres, Python, and dbt
  • Run the pipelines behind 500M+ labeled addresses, moving terabytes of streaming and batch data every day
  • Partner with crypto researchers, software engineers, and product to shape how data gets modeled, surfaced, and productized
  • Own data quality, reliability, and observability end-to-end. At most analytics companies a wrong number is a support ticket. Here, it’s a position someone took.
  • Mentor other data engineers and raise the technical bar across the team
  • Use AI tools and agents to move faster and cut the busywork out of your day

What we’re looking for

  • You’ve shipped and scaled high-performance data systems in production
  • Deep expertise in SQL and Python, with real hands-on experience in dbt, ClickHouse, and Postgres
  • Strong grasp of streaming data architectures, comfortable operating at genuine scale
  • You work the full data stack: ingestion, transformation, storage, modeling, serving
  • You already build with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and MCPs
  • You write clearly. This team is remote and async, so most decisions get made in writing
  • Bonus: experience leading or managing projects in a smaller team, fluency in onchain data structures, Web3 technologies, and crypto markets

What we offer our crew

  • Competitive salary. Meaningful equity. Real ownership in what you build
  • Fully remote with support for in-person co-location
  • Annual company retreat and team off-sites in Singapore, Bangkok, or Oslo, with flights and accommodation covered
  • Unlimited AI tokens
  • Your own OpenClaw for work
  • Nansen Pro account: full access to the most detailed onchain data in the market
  • Speed, ownership, curiosity, courage, transparency, simplicity
  • A front-row seat (and a hand in building) the next chapter of finance

Work visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.

Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in case of success.

Product Senior Product Manager, Endpoint at Halcyon

Senior Product Manager owns endpoint product strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes while collaborating with engineering, sales, and customer success teams.

Senior Remote Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

What we do:

Halcyon is the industry’s first dedicated, adaptive security platform that combines multiple proprietary advanced prevention engines along with AI models focused specifically on stopping ransomware.

Who we are:

Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans after battling the scourge of ransomware (and advanced threats) for years at some of the largest global security vendors. Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

As a remote-native, completely distributed global team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we’ll work a plan to meet your needs.

Senior Product Manager, Endpoint

Halcyon | Product | Remote, United States | Travel: 30–40%

About Halcyon

Halcyon builds an advanced anti-ransomware platform that enterprise security teams rely on to stop attacks other tools miss. Our agent runs on our customers endpoints, in production, in some of the largest environments in the world. We move quickly and give people real ownership, which only works because we’re deliberate about who we bring on

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to own our endpoint product area. You will own a meaningful piece of the business: shaping strategy for your area, driving it from problem definition through GA and iteration, and being accountable for the results. You will have a strong voice in where the endpoint product goes, and you will own the tradeoffs that get it there.

Our engineering team is highly technical, and you will work with them daily. Engineering owns the solution design, but you will own the customer outcomes and business objectives. You need to hold your own in those conversations, ask the right questions, and understand why endpoint is its own discipline.

This is a customer-facing role. You will spend real time with enterprise security teams in roadmap reviews, executive briefings, and technical deep dives. You will also work closely with our Sales Architects, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support, who are in front of customers every day and are one of your best sources of signal. Understanding your audience will be key success factor, and you will need to know when to lean into technical aspects but also be able to articulate the value that the technical solutions provide to executive level buyers.

What You’ll Own:

The endpoint product area

  • Shape the strategy for our endpoint solution and translate company objectives into a roadmap you can defend.
  • Define scope, sequence the work, and make the tradeoff calls. Own them when they are questioned and adjust when needed.
  • Drive initiatives from discovery through general availability and post-launch iteration through a transparent and collaborative approach.
  • Report on outcomes: adoption, retention, deal impact. Shipping is not the finish line.

Customer engagement

  • Meet directly with enterprise customers and prospects to validate problems before you commit to solutions.
  • Represent the product in roadmap reviews, executive briefings, and technical deep dives with security teams.
  • Turn scattered feedback into a defensible point of view, not a wish list.

Cross-functional execution

  • Partner with engineering on requirements, architecture discussions, and delivery quality while balancing business priorities.
  • Work day to day with our Sales Architects on deal support, technical objections, and what they are hearing in the field.
  • Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Support so launches land and get adopted.
  • Work within Product / UX to ensure aligned prioritization and execution.
  • Surface risk early and drive it to resolution instead of reporting it.

Who We’re Looking For:

Required

  • 5+ years in product management, with several of those years at a senior or lead level owning an

area rather than a queue of assigned features.

  • Endpoint experience. You have shipped agent-based software that runs on customer machines and you understand the nuances: deployment at scale, performance footprint, OS behavior, telemetry, upgrade and rollback, and what breaks in production.
  • B2B enterprise products sold to external customers, in a customer-facing capacity. Not internal tools or platform operations.
  • Technical aptitude to work with a highly technical engineering team. You can follow a design

discussion, read an architecture doc, ask the right questions, and push back credibly.

  • Engineering owns the solution; you must keep up with them and question when necessary.
  • A track record you can walk through in detail: what you owned, what you decided, what shipped, and how you it drove business impact.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with both engineers and executives.
  • Willingness to travel to customers, roughly 30 to 40%, often in concentrated stretches.

Preferred

  • Endpoint security or endpoint management background (EDR, EPP, anti-ransomware, systems management) at a vendor where the agent was the product.
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience.
  • Applied AI or ML in a shipped product.

Benefits:

Halcyon offers the following benefits to eligible employees:

  • Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents.

  • Short and long-term disability coverage, basic life and AD&D insurance plans.

  • Medical and dependent care FSA options.

  • 401k plan with a generous employer contribution.

  • Flexible PTO policy.

  • Parental leave.

  • Generous equity offerings.

The Company reserves the right to modify or change these benefits programs at any time, with or without notice.

The expected base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $240,000. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but are not limited to) role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, location, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offers, and equity awards.

In accordance with applicable state and federal laws, the range provided is Halcyon’s reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity in the Company.

We understand it takes a diverse team of highly intelligent, passionate, curious, and creative people to develop the exceptional product we are building. Our dynamic team has incredible perspectives to share, just as we know you do, and we take great pride in being an equal opportunity employer.

Engineer Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Causal & Decision Systems at CSC Generation

Build production machine learning systems for causal inference and automated decision-making in pricing, inventory, and business operations.

Senior Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

CSC Generation is building closed-loop decision systems that use machine learning to operate consumer businesses more intelligently.

We are starting with pricing and expanding into areas such as inventory, purchasing, promotions, marketing, and assortment.

The Role

You will help build systems that:

**estimate causal response + quantify uncertainty → choose actions → generate useful information → observe outcomes → update policies → evaluate challengers → deploy within guardrails**

We want to answer questions such as:

- What happens **because we change a price**, rather than simply what happens next?

- How should uncertainty affect a decision?

- When should the system exploit what it knows versus experiment to learn?

- Can we estimate the value of a challenger policy before fully deploying it?

- How do we optimize economic outcomes while respecting inventory, margin, vendor, customer, and operational constraints?

What You’ll Work On

Depending on your background, you may work across:

- causal and heterogeneous treatment-effect modeling;

- uncertainty estimation and calibration;

- contextual bandits, active learning, or sequential decision-making;

- policy learning and constrained optimization;

- counterfactual and off-policy evaluation;

- experimentation and champion/challenger systems;

- production ML infrastructure, monitoring, and automated deployment.

We care about selecting the right method, not using a particular framework.

What Success Looks Like

Success is not a better offline metric.

The systems you build should produce measurable economic lift in controlled experiments, generalize across businesses, learn from their own interventions, and safely automate an increasing share of real commercial decisions.

Over time, the goal is simple:

**the system should become better at operating the business because it has operated the business.**

What We’re Looking For

We care more about exceptional technical ability and judgment than matching a checklist.

Strong candidates will have experience in several of:

- machine learning and statistical modeling;

- causal inference and experimentation;

- recommendation, advertising, pricing, marketplace, credit, or other decision systems;

- bandits, reinforcement learning, optimization, or active learning;

- uncertainty estimation;

- counterfactual evaluation;

- production ML systems;

- Python, SQL, and large behavioral datasets.

Why This Role Is Different

Most ML systems learn from a dataset.

Here, **the decisions made by the model influence the data the model sees next**.

That creates a continuous loop:

**Decision → intervention → outcome → learning → better decision**

The long-term opportunity is to build that capability once and apply it across a portfolio of businesses and increasingly broad commercial decisions.

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.

Engineer Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager at Signify

Leads an ML engineering team building fraud detection models at scale, balancing hands-on technical work with mentoring and translating model performance into business outcomes.

Lead Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

At Signifyd, we help merchants confidently grow their businesses by building trusted relationships with their customers. Our advanced technology, combined with a team genuinely invested in our clients’ success, creates frictionless shopping experiences, approving more good orders, protecting revenue, and keeping customers happy.

Trusted by thousands of leading merchants across more than 100 countries, we securely process billions of transactions each year. Our people are the heart of everything we do, driving our mission forward with commitment, empathy, and creativity. Join us on our mission to empower confident, fraud-free commerce by helping online retailers provide superior customer experiences and eliminate fraud. Learn about our company values here!

Signifyd AI Lab (SAIL) builds the ML products behind Signifyd’s fraud and risk decisions. We improve the predictive performance of the models that decide e-commerce transactions at scale, we scale the ML capabilities of our Risk organization, and we push into the new markets and problem spaces that expand the market Signifyd can sell to.

Every space in this department is a mix of experimentation, code, and statistics.  We don’t create walls between the people who have the ideas and the people who build them. The team splits its time between near-term continuous model improvements and longer-horizon innovation bets to improve the company’s capabilities in 2027 and beyond.  These bets surface from the ground up in an environment where we believe those closest to the problems are best placed to understand how to solve them.

We’re hiring a manager to lead one of the teams in this department.

Who You Are

You are a hands-on Player-Coach who thrives in ambiguity—where the roadmap is a set of hypotheses, and the answer to “will this work?” is “we’ll know in three weeks.”

You bring:

Technical Credibility (The “Player”): You stay close enough to the work to have a grounded opinion. You read the code, inspect evaluation pipelines, and can immediately tell the difference between a statistical result that will hold up in production and one that just happened to look good on a single test window.

Leadership & Rigor (The “Coach”): You hold a high bar for evidence without becoming a bottleneck to experimentation. You mentor engineers to own their code quality, and you translate complex ML performance metrics into clear business outcomes for Risk leadership.

Executive Judgment: You know how to balance research bets against quarterly delivery, disagree and commit when decisions are made, and build an environment where well-documented negative experimental results are celebrated as real progress.

What You’ll Do

Lead and grow the team

  • Guide career development, manage conflicts, and nurture a positive work environment.
  • Develop career plans with team members, provide guidance on skill development, and follow up on their evolution.
  • Engage in regular 1:1s, give constant feedback, and create a safe environment for open discussion — including the discussions that follow an experiment that didn’t work.
  • Set clear goals, mentor the team, and foster a collaborative environment across a geographically distributed organization.
  • Encourage a culture of learning and improvement, provide technical guidance, and support team members in both technical and soft skills.
  • Conduct technical and hiring-manager interviews, train the team on interviewing techniques, and help us keep raising the bar as we grow.
  • Identify and address gaps in team capabilities and processes to enhance team efficiency and success.

Run a portfolio of experiments, not a delivery queue

  • Partner with your tech leads, who own and drive the technical roadmap for their areas. Your job is not to be the sole source of ideas — it is to pressure-test them, sharpen them, make sure the strongest ones get resourced, and make sure the people generating them have the room and the support to do it. When you do bring an idea, you bring it as a peer in the technical conversation.
  • Make the calls the roadmap can’t make for you: which hypotheses get compute and headcount, which get another iteration, and which get a clear, documented “no.” A well-run negative result is a real outcome, and we treat it as one — but only if it’s declared, written down, and learned from.
  • Manage the trade-off between a committed improvement target you must hit this year and research bets that may not pay off for several quarters. You will re-cut that budget as evidence arrives, and you’ll be able to explain the reasoning to both your team and your stakeholders.
  • Bring rigor to how the team decides something worked. Offline results have to predict online behavior; a strong point estimate on a single evaluation window is a starting point, not a conclusion. You will be the person asking whether the improvement survives a rolling evaluation, whether it’s already captured by a change we shipped last month, and what would have to be true for it to be wrong.
  • Own delivery on a cadence. Independent experimental workstreams have to converge into a release candidate, get evaluated end to end, and ship — including the hard call to leave a workstream out of a release when it isn’t carrying its weight.

Set direction from data, in partnership with Risk

  • Work directly with our Risk partners as your primary stakeholders. Our commitments to them are explicit, measured, and written down; we deliver model performance, and they own thresholds, rules, and how decisions are applied to merchants.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy. Our direction comes from measured performance against those commitments and from what our own experiments tell us, not from a product backlog handed to the team. You are expected to know what your team should be working on and to defend it, rather than wait to be told.
  • Partner with our platform and infrastructure engineering teams on the feature systems, training pipelines, and experimentation tooling your team depends on — and be clear about where the boundary sits between what SAIL should own and what belongs to Engineering.
  • Represent your team’s results to a broad audience: engineering leadership, Risk leaders, and the wider company.

What You’ll Need

  • Roughly 5+ years in machine learning, data science, or ML-adjacent software engineering, including at least 3 years of people management — guiding career development, addressing conflicts, and building a healthy, high-performing team.
  • Genuine depth in at least one of engineering and applied statistics, and real working competence in the other. We are not hiring a manager of analysts, and we are not hiring a manager of a pure software team. Our engineers train production models that decide serious traffic, and we expect their manager to be able to engage with that work at a technical level.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead work under real uncertainty: setting a direction when the answer isn’t known yet, changing course when evidence says to, and communicating both without eroding your team’s confidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Much of our decision-making happens in documents, and we expect managers to write well.
  • Autonomy in recognizing priorities and evaluating the impact of outcomes, and comfort working without close supervision in a fast-moving environment.
  • Commitment to quality. You take pride in work that excels in correctness, reproducibility, and reliability, and you set that standard for your team.

Title- Supplier Quality Manager

Basic Function:

The Supplier Quality Manager will help develop, implement, and operate the supplier quality program supporting SB Energy’s data center portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this role will establish and manage quality controls for owner-furnished/contractor-installed (OFCI) and other critical supplier-provided equipment from supplier qualification and design review through production, factory testing, shipment, site receipt, installation, startup, and final turnover.

The Supplier Quality Manager will work closely with equipment suppliers, OEMs, engineering, procurement, project teams, third-party inspectors, general contractors, commissioning teams, site quality personnel, and operations to confirm that supplier-provided equipment meets SB Energy’s technical requirements, approved specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

This role will support the broader SB Energy Quality Program by developing standardized supplier quality procedures, supplier requirements, inspection and test plans, factory audit processes, reporting tools, performance metrics, and corrective action workflows that can be consistently deployed across data center projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supplier Quality Program Development and Governance

  • Partner with the Director of Quality to develop, launch, operate, and continuously improve the supplier quality component of the SB Energy Quality Program.
  • Establish program standards, specifications, procedures, workflows, templates, checklists, approval criteria, roles, and stage gates for critical supplier-provided equipment.
  • Develop risk-based quality requirements and oversight plans based on equipment criticality, technical complexity, supplier capability, project schedule, and prior performance.
  • Integrate supplier quality requirements with engineering, procurement, project quality plans, construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover processes.
  • Support development of quality language for equipment specifications, contracts, purchase orders, scopes of work, supplier data requirements, and third-party inspection services.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of approved supplier quality standards, forms, inspection records, and lessons learned in company-approved systems and tools.
  • Drive standardization across projects while allowing documented, risk-based adjustments for project-specific requirements.

Supplier Qualification and Quality Planning

  • Lead or coordinate supplier due diligence, qualification audits, capability assessments, and periodic performance reviews.
  • Assess supplier quality management systems, organization, technical capability, production capacity, process controls, sub-tier supplier management, material traceability, calibration, document control, nonconformance management, and corrective action processes.
  • Support procurement and engineering teams during sourcing, prequalification, bid evaluation, supplier selection, and award recommendations.
  • Develop supplier risk ratings and define the appropriate level of surveillance, audit, inspection, and testing for each equipment package.
  • Review supplier quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), production schedules, factory acceptance test (FAT) procedures, inspection checklists, and required quality submittals.
  • Establish clear hold points, witness points, review points, release criteria, documentation requirements, and notification periods before production begins.
  • Confirm that quality requirements are flowed down to critical sub-tier suppliers and incorporated into supplier production and testing plans.

Supplier Oversight, Factory Inspection, and Testing

  • Plan and manage supplier audits, in-process production surveillance, source inspections, factory acceptance testing, bench testing, controls testing, final inspections, and shipment release reviews.
  • Perform inspections directly and coordinate qualified third-party inspectors, testing agencies, and subject matter experts when specialized coverage is required.
  • Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, submittals, bills of material, production procedures, inspection criteria, test procedures, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Evaluate materials, critical dimensions, workmanship, assembly, labeling, configuration, cleanliness, preservation, packaging, test results, and readiness for shipment.
  • Confirm that inspection and test instruments are appropriate, calibrated, traceable, and within their required calibration periods.
  • Monitor supplier production progress and quality risks against project milestones, identify potential schedule or reliability impacts, and escalate significant concerns promptly.
  • Recommend shipment release only after required inspections, tests, documentation, and corrective actions are complete or formally addressed through an approved exception.
  • Ensure findings and action items from factory visits, inspections, and tests are clearly documented, assigned, tracked, and verified before closure.
  • Provide oversight for critical electrical, mechanical, controls, and modular or prefabricated systems, including equipment such as transformers, switchgear, busway, generators, UPS and battery systems, cooling equipment, pumps, electrical and mechanical skids, BMS/EPMS panels, and packaged control systems, as applicable.

Nonconformance, Corrective Action, and Supplier Performance

  • Manage supplier nonconformance reports, deviations, concessions, repair or replacement proposals, and requests for waiver in coordination with engineering and project stakeholders.
  • Require timely containment, correction, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action for significant or recurring supplier quality issues.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methods, including 8D and root cause analysis, when issue severity or recurrence warrants formal investigation.
  • Verify that corrective actions address the underlying cause, are fully implemented, and are effective before final closure.
  • Track recurring defects, systemic supplier issues, late documentation, failed tests, shipping damage, and other trends across projects and equipment categories.
  • Develop and maintain supplier quality scorecards that support sourcing decisions, performance reviews, escalation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support warranty claims, supplier recovery efforts, replacement planning, and field corrective actions when supplier defects affect project execution or asset performance.

Project Integration, Logistics, and Handover

  • Coordinate closely with project quality managers, engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, commissioning, site operations, and general contractors to align supplier quality activities with project needs.
  • Establish supplier data, inspection, testing, and turnover documentation requirements early enough to support construction and commissioning schedules.
  • Support shipment readiness, packaging, preservation, transportation planning, site receipt inspections, and resolution of shipping damage, missing components, or preservation concerns.
  • Ensure required supplier quality and production records are complete and accessible, including audit reports, inspection reports, FAT results, material certifications, calibration records, approved deviations, nonconformance closures, as-built documents, warranties, and asset data.
  • Support site installation, startup, commissioning, and turnover teams in resolving supplier-related quality issues and coordinating supplier response.
  • Confirm that supplier quality records are linked to the applicable equipment and retained in the owner-approved document and asset management platform.
  • Capture project and supplier lessons learned and incorporate them into future specifications, checklists, sourcing decisions, and quality plans.

Metrics, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and monitor supplier quality key performance indicators, including supplier audit findings, first-pass FAT results, nonconformance aging, corrective action closure, recurring defects, documentation completeness, shipping damage, and on-time release performance.
  • Prepare clear reports and dashboards for the Director of Quality and other stakeholders, highlighting performance, risks, overdue actions, emerging trends, and required decisions.
  • Analyze supplier and equipment performance across projects to identify systemic risks and opportunities for standardization or preventive action.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, improve first-time quality, strengthen supplier accountability, and protect project schedule and reliability.
  • Share supplier quality performance and lessons learned with project teams, leadership, procurement, engineering, commissioning, and operations.

Stakeholder, Third-Party, and Team Leadership

  • Serve as the primary supplier quality interface for OEMs, suppliers, engineering firms, procurement, project teams, commissioning teams, and third-party inspection providers.
  • Manage the scope, performance, scheduling, deliverables, and quality of third-party inspectors, testing agencies, and consultants supporting supplier quality oversight.
  • Communicate complex technical and quality issues clearly, provide practical recommendations, and escalate critical or gating risks to the Director of Quality and project leadership.
  • Influence cross-functional teams and external partners without relying solely on direct authority, while maintaining accountability for agreed quality requirements and actions.
  • Develop training, guidance, and coaching for project quality personnel and other stakeholders participating in supplier audits, factory visits, inspections, and equipment acceptance.
  • Support development of future supplier quality resources and organizational capability as the data center portfolio grows.

Safety and Compliance

  • Champion a strong safety culture during supplier audits, factory inspections, testing, transportation, site receipt, and field support activities.
  • Follow supplier and project safety requirements, including required personal protective equipment, site orientation, lockout/tagout controls, and safe access to production and construction environments.
  • Confirm that production and testing activities comply with applicable project specifications, approved procedures, supplier requirements, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Identify and escalate conditions that could create safety, reliability, compliance, or operational risk for SB Energy projects or assets.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, supply chain, construction management, engineering technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in supplier quality, quality assurance/quality control, engineering, construction, commissioning, or a related technical field.

What this role involves

Description

NOTE: This is a FULLY remote role, but the candidate must be within Europe to collaborate with their team, peers, and internal customers. You do not have to be in the specific country or city shown in this listing, but please only apply if you are physically based within Europe.

Trusted by 20,000+ property managers worldwide, Hostaway is an industry leading, AI-powered vacation rental management platform designed for professional short-term rental operators. Hostaway brings everything together for greater efficiency and faster growth.

Profitable, high-growth, and the first short-term rental PMS unicorn 🦄. Join us at our most exciting stage yet! Learn more about our recent valuation and story here.

About the role

Hostaway is looking for a Lead AI GTM Engineer to build the systems, workflows, and AI-powered tools that make our global marketing team faster, smarter, and more effective.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who combines deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of how modern marketing teams operate. You will work across Brand, Content, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to identify where AI can improve performance, reduce manual work, and increase the quality and speed of execution.

You will decide where to buy, build, or automate; design and deploy agents and workflows; integrate AI into our marketing technology stack; and measure whether those solutions improve marketing performance and ROI.

This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You should be equally comfortable mapping a complex GTM workflow, evaluating a new AI platform, building an agent, connecting systems through APIs, and explaining the business impact to senior marketing leaders.

Your mission

  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions, including agents, multi-step workflows, automations, and internal tools that solve real marketing problems.

    • For example, building a campaign builder that allows a marketer to input a brief, and the agentic workflow creates all of the assets, including versions and localizations, and connects to platforms like Meta/LinkedIn/Google to execute the ads in market.
  • Own build-vs-buy decisions by evaluating emerging AI and GTM platforms, testing their capabilities, and determining when to implement an existing solution versus build something custom.

  • Integrate AI agents and workflows with our marketing platforms, data sources, APIs, and internal systems.

    • For example, you can build an email automation workflow that connects to our platform to identify signals that would trigger an email cadence with all the branching logic, including writing the email, and connecting to HubSpot to deploy the email.
  • Establish AI evaluation and quality standards by testing accuracy, reliability, and output quality and continuously improving production workflows.

  • Optimize the economics of AI across token usage, API consumption, software costs, infrastructure, and human effort.

  • Stay ahead of emerging models, agent frameworks, platforms, and approaches, turning the most promising developments into practical advantages for Hostaway.

Requirements

  • Full-stack builder: Past engineering experience required, and you can independently design, build, deploy, and maintain AI-powered applications, agents, and multi-step workflows.

  • AI engineering expertise: Y ou have built AI agents and agentic workflows that have measurably improved team performance. This requires you to be comfortable working across models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and coding environments such as Claude Code or similar tools.

  • AI platform fluency: You have hands-on experience evaluating and implementing emerging AI and GTM platforms such as Qualified, Clay, Jasper, Copy.ai, HubSpot Breeze, or similar tools, and you can quickly determine if they solve real-world business problems.

  • Platform integration expertise: You know how to connect systems. You have hands-on experience integrating platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Meta, Google, and LinkedIn and creating reliable data flows between them.

  • GTM fluency: You understand how modern B2B marketing works across brand, content, demand generation, product marketing, and marketing operations, and how those teams work together across the buyer journey and funnel.

  • Strong economic judgment: You understand the cost of automation and can evaluate tradeoffs between human effort, purchased software, API consumption, infrastructure, and token usage to choose the most efficient solution.

  • Data acquisition expertise: You are comfortable using APIs, web scraping, and other methods to turn external data into structured inputs for marketing, competitive intelligence, targeting, and automation.

  • Able to navigate ambiguity: You can identify the highest-impact opportunities, make pragmatic decisions with incomplete information, and move quickly from idea to working solution without needing heavy process or a large team.

What we offer

  • Competitive Compensation: We offer competitive pay based on market rates in the country of the applicant.

  • 100% Remote: Enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere within your country of residence—be it a co-working space, your home office, or even your dining room table. The choice is yours. Just don’t ask to work in our office (we don’t have one).

  • Equity: Every role in our company comes with valuable stock options in a fast-growing and profitable company. This ensures we all share in the company’s success.

  • Values-Driven Leadership: Our Core Values are not just words we’ve written to make us feel good. We leverage them daily when making strategic and tactical decisions.

  • Professional Growth: Our rapid growth offers unparalleled learning and development opportunities, along with a multitude of career advancement opportunities.

  • Annual Paid Leave: The specific amounts vary by country and are aligned with country and/or contract-specific norms.

  • Geographic Specific Benefits: As an international employer, we offer different country-specific benefits such as Health Insurance and Pensions in countries where these perks are customary. The specifics depend on the country of the applicant.

  • Dynamic Team Culture: As a global company with team members in over 40 countries, our diverse and international culture fuels our innovation and creativity, providing a key pillar to our success (and making it a lot of fun to work here).

Thank you for your interest. If you apply for this role, you will receive an email from our Talent Acquisition team after your application has been reviewed alongside the qualifications for this role and the qualifications of others who have applied.

Product Senior Product Manager at ActBlue

Senior Product Manager leads strategy, roadmap, and execution for core fundraising products including donation checkout, form creation, and analytics through experimentation and data-driven optimization.

Senior Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

WHO WE ARE

ActBlue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating cutting-edge technology that fuels Democratic victories and enables progressive causes to thrive.

Our vision is simple: building change through the power of people. Since our founding, we’ve been building innovative solutions to revolutionize grassroots fundraising – if you’ve donated to a Democratic campaign or a progressive organization online, you’ve probably used our platform! We believe in putting power in the hands of small-dollar donors by helping thousands of groups — from local candidates to national movements — mobilize their communities and create a lasting impact. Every member of our team is deeply committed to advancing our shared mission and core values. Together, we are shaping the future of democracy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

ActBlue is the online fundraising platform that powers most Democratic campaigns, causes, and organizations in the country. Billions of dollars flow through our platform every election cycle, and every dollar starts with someone completing a contribution on one of our forms.

Our donation form is the single most important surface in Democratic fundraising. Millions of donors interact with it every cycle. Every campaign, party, and PAC on the left depends on it converting at the highest possible rate, and the difference between a good form and a great one shows up in real dollars flowing to real races.

We’re looking for a results-driven, analytically minded Senior Product Manager to lead our core fundraising products—including donor checkout, fundraising form creation, and fundraising analytics. You’ll own product strategy, roadmap, and execution across these experiences, partnering closely with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to improve fundraising outcomes for campaigns across the country.

You’ll drive growth through rigorous experimentation, conversion optimization, and deep analysis of user behavior. You’ll also help define where our fundraising products go over the coming years as user expectations evolve and new technologies create new possibilities.

This is a role for a strategic product leader who wants to shape the future of digital fundraising, sharpen a category-defining product, and make a meaningful impact on democratic engagement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Protect and extend our platform’s conversion advantage through rigorous experimentation, funnel analysis, continuous iteration, and clear outcome measurement. Donation conversion is one of ActBlue’s most important competitive advantages, and you’ll be accountable for improving it.
  • Work closely with campaigns of all sizes to understand their fundraising workflows and translate their needs into scalable product solutions.
  • Reimagine how campaigns understand their fundraising performance, evolving fundraising analytics beyond dashboards toward guidance that tells users what’s happening, what it means, and what to do next.
  • Own the roadmap and execution for our core fundraising products, including the donation checkout experience, form-building tools, and fundraising analytics.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, data, support, customer success, marketing, legal, and finance to deliver end-to-end value.
  • Communicate product direction and outcomes clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.

LEVEL EXPECTATIONS

Senior Product Manager I

  • Independently leads product initiatives from discovery through launch within an established product strategy.
  • Owns significant product areas and makes day-to-day prioritization decisions.
  • Improves existing experiences through experimentation, customer research, and iterative delivery.
  • Contributes customer insights and product recommendations that influence broader product strategy.

Senior Product Manager II

  • Sets long-term product strategy and vision for ActBlue’s fundraising platform.
  • Owns highly complex, cross-functional initiatives with significant organizational impact.
  • Shapes investment priorities and influences executive decision-making.
  • Drives alignment across product, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
  • Represents the product strategy with senior leadership and key external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Direct experience with checkout flows, transaction-heavy products, or e-commerce platforms. You know what it takes to get a conversion rate to move and hold.
  • A product mindset grounded in discovery, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering, design, data, and business teams.

Senior Product Manager I

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a focus on conversion optimization, user engagement, or revenue growth.
  • Experience running A/B tests, interpreting data, and using experimentation to improve products.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
  • A track record of building customer-facing experiences that drive retention and revenue.
  • Passion for outcome-driven product development and learning through iteration.
  • Experience building or improving AI-powered features is a plus.
  • Experience with authoring tools, no-code builders, or similar products is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to ship products.

Senior Product Manager II

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a focus on conversion optimization, user engagement, or revenue growth.
  • Deep expertise leading experimentation programs and making strategic product decisions from data, while recognizing when qualitative insights are equally important.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex user behavior and business performance data.
  • A proven track record of owning high-impact products that drive customer and business outcomes.
  • Experience defining product strategy and influencing organizational priorities.
  • Experience building AI-powered products or using AI to make products significantly smarter and more useful.
  • Strong experience with authoring tools, no-code builders, or similar creator products.
  • Experience leading geographically distributed, cross-functional teams delivering complex products at scale.
  • Experience operating in high-stakes environments where product performance directly impacts business outcomes.

Operations Head of Fund Operations – Credit Fund at Xsolla

Designs and runs the operational infrastructure for a private credit fund, managing fund formation, LP onboarding, capital calls, valuation, reporting, and audit readiness.

Lead Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Xsolla is seeking a Head of Fund Operations to stand up and run the operating machinery of the Xsolla Credit Fund. You have taken a private fund from formation through first close before, and you know the full stack: structure and LPA work with counsel, service-provider selection, LP onboarding, capital calls, valuation policy, reporting, and audit readiness.

This is a builder’s mandate. You will design the fund’s operating playbook, run it, and document it so the fund operates to institutional standards from day one — and mentor the junior operations hires who join as the fund scales.

The role reports directly to Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer and Head of the Xsolla Credit Fund.

ABOUT US

Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.

Beyond its core commerce platform, Xsolla is building a private credit fund that lends to video game studios, underwritten with a data advantage no traditional lender has: Xsolla’s own payments telemetry across thousands of games. The fund is in its capital formation phase and is led by Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help raise a first-time fund inside a profitable, global gaming-commerce company, alongside the broader Xsolla capital markets ecosystem (Xsolla Funding Club, Xsolla SPAC 1 — Nasdaq: XSLLU, and other strategic vehicles).

For more information, visit xsolla.com.

Responsibilities

Fund Formation and Structuring

  • Drive fund formation with external fund counsel: vehicle and jurisdiction selection, LPA and side letters, GP and management company setup, and the regulatory perimeter.
  • Own the LPA from the operator’s seat: terms, economics, and governance mechanics — and translate them into operational reality once signed.

Service Provider Stack

  • Select and manage the provider stack: fund administrator, auditor, tax advisors, banking/custody, and compliance vendors — and manage them to institutional standards.
  • Own provider economics: negotiate scopes and fees; keep the fund’s operating cost model lean and LP-defensible.

Fund Operations

  • Run the core machinery: capital calls and distributions, LP onboarding and KYC/AML, expense management, and cash movement controls.
  • Own valuation and NAV: valuation policy, NAV oversight with the administrator, and credit-fund specifics such as borrowing-base mechanics and leverage facility administration.

LP Reporting and Diligence Readiness

  • Build the reporting stack: quarterly reporting (ILPA-aligned), capital account statements, and LP communications infrastructure.
  • Keep the fund diligence-ready: DDQ responses, operational due-diligence readiness, and the operations sections of the data room — before LPs ask.

Compliance and Governance

  • Establish the policy framework: valuation, allocation, conflicts, and ESG/AML policies; regulatory filings with counsel; audit coordination.
  • Design for scrutiny: so every process has a documented owner, control, and audit trail that stands up to institutional operational due diligence.

Operating Playbook and Team Building

  • Codify the fund’s operating playbook: documented processes, controls, and owners for every core workflow — built for operational due diligence from day one.
  • Scale the function: as the fund scales, build out and mentor the junior operations team (controller, fund accountants) and integrate with Xsolla’s finance and legal teams.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience

  • 7+ years in fund operations, fund CFO, or fund controllership roles at private credit or other private capital funds.
  • You have taken at least one private fund from formation through first close — this is the core requirement. You know what breaks, in what order, and how to prevent it.
  • Deep working knowledge of LPA terms, fund administration, capital call mechanics, and ILPA reporting standards.
  • Credit-fund specifics — leverage facilities, borrowing bases, loan administration, asset-level reporting — are a strong plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Hands-on operator: comfortable being the entire operations function on day one, with providers as your leverage.
  • Rigorous documentation and controls discipline; you build processes that pass operational due diligence, not just processes that work.
  • Strong commercial judgment on provider selection, fee negotiation, and build-vs-outsource decisions.
  • Clear communicator who can explain fund mechanics to non-fund people — including investors, borrowers, and Xsolla leadership.

Education and Credentials

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field; CPA, a CFA charter, or an MBA is preferred.

Benefits

We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. This includes 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision plans, unlimited Flexible Time Off, and a personalized career roadmap for each employee. By investing in professional development through training and educational opportunities, we ensure that our team thrives both personally and professionally. Together, we’re not just building a business; we’re cultivating a community that values creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of play.

The role reports directly to Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer and Head of the Xsolla Credit Fund, and sits on the fund’s credit committee.

Underwriting Framework and Credit Policy

  • Design the fund’s underwriting framework from scratch: credit policy, underwriting standards, rating and scoring methodology, credit memo templates, and approval workflows — built for LP diligence from day one.
  • Build the data edge into the process: integrate Xsolla’s payments telemetry and game-revenue data into underwriting as a durable information advantage.

Deal Underwriting and Structuring

  • Lead the underwriting of lending facilities to game studios and gaming businesses: financial analysis, revenue durability, downside cases, and recovery analysis.
  • Structure facilities: term loans, revolvers, royalty- and revenue-based structures — including covenants, collateral packages, borrowing bases, and pricing.
  • Draft and negotiate term sheets and credit documentation with borrowers alongside external counsel.

Credit Committee and Governance

  • Stand up and run the credit committee process: present transactions, document decisions, and maintain an audit trail that stands up to LP and auditor scrutiny.
  • Establish portfolio monitoring: watchlist discipline, covenant tracking, and a workout playbook as the portfolio builds.

LP Diligence and Fundraising Support

  • Be the credit face of the fund: appear in fund materials and LP meetings as the fund’s credit authority; own underwriting answers in LP due diligence.
  • Support capital formation: help shape the fund’s risk-return narrative, portfolio construction guidelines, and track-record presentation.

Credit Playbook and Team Building

  • Codify the credit playbook: standards, templates, and documentation that make the fund’s underwriting repeatable and audit-ready.
  • Build the bench: as the fund scales, hire and mentor the junior credit team — analysts, associates, and in time a portfolio/risk officer.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience

  • 7+ years in private credit, direct lending, specialty finance, or leveraged finance, with personal responsibility for underwriting and closing institutional credit transactions.
  • Experience at an early-stage or first-time credit fund — credit policy written from scratch, LPA input, first LP diligence — is strongly preferred. You have seen what a fund needs before it has infrastructure.
  • Lending against media, IP, royalties, recurring digital revenue, or gaming businesses is a strong plus.
  • A track record you can walk LPs through: deals underwritten, structures used, and how they performed — including the ones that went wrong and what you did about it.

Skills and Competencies

  • Deep fluency in credit analysis, financial modeling, covenant design, collateral structures, and credit documentation.
  • The gravitas to sit across from LPs, investment committees, and founders — and the judgment to say no to a deal.
  • Enjoys mentoring junior team members and building a strong credit culture as the team grows.
  • Comfort operating in a lean, fast-moving team where you build the machine you then operate.

Education and Credentials

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; an MBA and/or a CFA charter is preferred.

Benefits

We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. Data Analytics Head of Fund Analytics & Automation — Credit Fund at Xsolla

Designs and operates the credit fund's data and automation stack, combining SQL/Python engineering with portfolio analytics and underwriting decisions.

What this role involves

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Head of Fund Analytics & Automation who is a hands-on builder, rigorous with data, and fluent in finance conversations to join our Credit Fund team in the office of the Chief Credit Officer. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to design, build, and operate the fund’s entire data and automation stack end to end — and then own it as the fund goes live.

The credit fund is being built with a deliberately small team. Instead of hiring several analysts and operations staff, we want one senior technical hire who can do both: engineer the platform and sit across the table from investors and borrowers. Underwriting here is built on real payment telemetry — including Xsolla transaction data — and that data edge is the foundation of this role.

Strong SQL, Python, and production automation skills are essential, along with real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit. The ability to ship audit-grade systems and then defend the numbers in front of LPs and borrowers will be key to your success in this role. The role starts as a builder and becomes the owner-operator of the platform, with a growing seat in underwriting decisions and, as the platform and deal volume grow, scope to hire and lead a small team.

If you’re passionate about applying AI-governed automation to private credit and love building the systems that let a lean team punch far above its weight, we would love to hear from you!

With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.

For more information, visit xsolla.com.

Responsibilities

First 6 months — priorities in order

- Deal pipeline live: origination intake through credit committee, with the full audit trail. - Scoring data layer: borrower financials and payment telemetry ingested, stored, and under documented data contracts. - LP / fundraising pipeline instrumented, and first investor reporting shipped.

Explicitly out of scope: legal documentation, fund administration, and accounting — these sit with external providers.

Phase 1: Build (through first close)

Deal pipeline management

- Design and run the full deal workflow: origination intake, screening, scoring, credit committee, closing.

- Implement it as governed automation (workflow orchestration such as n8n or similar, with LLM-assisted steps where they add value): every automated output validated against a defined schema, low-confidence results routed to human review, and a complete audit trail suitable for LP due diligence.

Scoring and underwriting data layer

- Build the ingestion and storage layer for borrower financials and payments telemetry (including Xsolla transaction data) — PostgreSQL or equivalent, ETL pipelines, materialized views, documented data contracts.

- Develop credit scoring and forecasting models in Python, with proper train/test discipline, leakage and PII exclusion, and ongoing monitoring for drift and degradation.

- Maintain evaluation and regression checks so model and automation quality is measured continuously, not assumed.

Fundraising / LP pipeline

- Build and operate the investor pipeline: CRM automation, conference and referral pipeline tracking, follow-up orchestration, and data room preparation and upkeep.

- Instrument the pipeline so we always know conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions per LP.

Investor and borrower dashboards

- Ship reporting for both audiences: fund-level metrics for investors, facility-level metrics for borrowers.

- Numbers must reconcile to source systems and be reproducible outside the BI tool — audit-grade, not demo-grade. Tableau / Power BI or a lightweight web dashboard, whichever fits.

Reliability, cost, and security of the stack

- Budget caps and cost monitoring on all AI-assisted automation; regression canaries before changes ship.

- Access control and data protection appropriate for fund data: deny-by-default permissions, audit logs, strict handling of LP identities, borrower financials, and deal terms.

- Documented runbooks and handover-ready documentation as part of “done” — the stack must be operable by someone other than its author.

Phase 2: Operate (post-close)

- Move into an operating role on the underwriting side: portfolio monitoring, covenant and collateral tracking, scenario and stress analysis.

- Extend the platform to other investment types and support the capital formation team with the same pipeline and reporting infrastructure.

Client and investor facing

This is not a back-office role. The person will join investor and borrower meetings, present the dashboards and the numbers behind them, and field diligence questions directly. Fluency in finance conversations is as important as engineering. The person will also respond to LP operational due diligence questionnaires on the data and automation stack.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

- 7+ years across data analytics / data engineering, including recent hands-on experience building and running production automation (not prototypes or notebooks).

- Proven production experience with LLM-based automation: schema-validated outputs, human review gates, evaluation and regression testing, cost-tiered model routing.

- Strong SQL and Python; ownership of a PostgreSQL (or similar) data platform end to end — ETL, materialized views, performance tuning, data contracts.

- Workflow orchestration experience (n8n, Airflow, or comparable).

- BI and dashboarding: Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent web dashboards; a track record of reporting that executives actually used for decisions.

- Security discipline for sensitive data: role-based access, deny-by-default policies, audit trails, PII handling.

- Finance background: degree in finance or quantitative field plus real experience in portfolio analytics, market risk, or credit — able to hold their own in an underwriting or investor conversation.

- Strong written and spoken English; comfortable presenting to senior external audiences.

Preferred

- Direct exposure to private credit, lending, or fund operations.

- Forecasting and statistical modeling track record (capacity planning, SLA/risk forecasting, or similar).

- Experience with embeddings / semantic search and multi-model AI setups.

- Web development ability (React / TypeScript or similar) for internal tools and dashboards.

- Experience in audited or regulated environments (SOC 2, fund audits, or equivalent).

We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program. Sales Head of Investor Relations – Credit Fund at Xsolla

Leads capital raising for a credit fund by cultivating and managing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and LP decision-makers.

Lead Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Xsolla is seeking a Head of Investor Relations for the Xsolla Credit Fund, whose primary mandate is LP capital raising. While Xsolla’s Capital Markets team covers investor relations across all of the company’s strategic vehicles, this role is dedicated to the credit fund. Over time the role will also support fundraising for other Xsolla investment products, but the credit fund remains the primary focus. This is a relationship-led role. We are looking for someone who brings an established network of LP relationships — family offices, credit and alternatives allocators, funds of funds, and institutions — and who can open doors, engage principals, and personally steward investors from first conversation through diligence to commitment.

ABOUT US

Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. For more information, visit xsolla.com.

Responsibilities

LP Relationships and Origination

  • Bring and grow the network: activate your existing LP relationships and originate new ones across family offices, credit and alternatives allocators, funds of funds, and institutions.
  • Engage principals: represent the fund credibly with decision-makers and investment committees, and match opportunities to each investor’s mandate and ticket size.
  • Source and qualify the wider funnel: from conferences, investor databases, introductions, Xsolla contacts, and external research — qualified and prioritized by mandate fit.
  • Steward each relationship through diligence, negotiation, and commitment — and after the close, as the foundation of the fund’s long-term LP base.

Follow-Through and Pipeline Discipline

  • Drive follow-through from first contact to meeting, diligence, soft interest, and closed commitment — no lead goes stale.
  • Prepare and send investor outreach and follow-ups; capture meeting notes, next steps, and commitment tracking after every interaction.
  • Maintain clean CRM reporting: pipeline status, activity, outcomes, blockers, priorities, and weekly progress — so leadership always knows conversion rates, stage aging, and next actions per LP.
  • Provide regular internal fund progress reporting to Xsolla leadership via Slack and other internal tools. A junior IR hire will take on pipeline operations as the raise scales.

Fundraising Materials and Messaging

  • Support and continuously improve investor materials: pitch deck, FAQs, data room, and meeting-specific talking points.
  • Refine LP messaging, fund thesis, objection handling, and investor segmentation based on live market feedback.
  • Write concise, institutional-quality investor emails, follow-ups, and presentation language.

Diligence and Fund Setup Support

  • Coordinate LP diligence requests across internal Xsolla teams, external advisors, legal, finance, and leadership.
  • Support fund setup workstreams: data room preparation and upkeep, reporting readiness, and document management.
  • Collect and synthesize investor feedback on fund terms, structure, risk-return profile, reporting, and allocation preferences to inform fund design.

Cross-Product Fundraising Support

  • As capacity allows, extend the same funnel discipline and materials support to other Xsolla investment products and strategic vehicles, in coordination with the Capital Markets team.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience

  • 7+ years in investor relations, placement, private funds, investment banking, private credit, venture capital, private equity, family office, or institutional fundraising.
  • An established, referenceable network of LP relationships — family offices, credit and alternatives allocators, funds of funds, or institutions — that you can activate for a first-time fund. This is the core requirement for the role.
  • A track record of raising institutional capital, with a strong understanding of LP fundraising mechanics: fund materials, diligence processes, investor segmentation, and the private fund lifecycle.
  • Direct exposure to private credit or first-time fund raises is a strong plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent business English; able to write concise investor emails, follow-ups, FAQs, and presentation language without supervision.
  • Strong Excel / Google Sheets, CRM, tracking, reporting, and project management discipline.
  • Commercial, structured, responsive, and able to manage many parallel investor conversations without dropping threads.
  • The gravitas and credibility to engage principals, investment committees, and senior allocators as a peer.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive fund and investor information.
  • Interest in gaming, fintech, private credit, alternative investments, or digital platforms preferred.

Education and Credentials

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • CFA / CAIA or relevant securities licenses are viewed favorably but not required.

Engineer Senior Back End Developer at CoLab

Senior backend engineer builds scalable retrieval pipelines, AI search infrastructure, and services powering intelligent experiences across an engineering platform.

Senior Posted about 9 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About CoLab

At CoLab, we help mechanical engineering teams bring life-changing products to market years sooner.

CoLab is the AI platform for driving stronger engineering decisions. Every design review in CoLab builds a knowledge repository of design feedback, decisions, and lessons learned - which AI agents draw from to flag issues on future designs before they compound. The more your team works in CoLab, the smarter it gets and the faster you arrive at the ideal design. Companies like Ford, Komatsu, and Johnson Controls use CoLab to catch issues earlier, eliminate rework cycles, and bring products to market faster.

Founded in St. John’s, Newfoundland, CoLab has grown quickly from our first customer in 2019 to a rapidly scaling company. We’ve recently been recognized on Deloitte’s Fast 50™ and Fast 500™, and named a Canadian company to watch by The Globe and Mail and Financial Post.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our Build Operator team.

Operator isn’t a chatbot bolted onto our product. It’s becoming the intelligence layer across CoLab, helping engineering teams search company knowledge, surface design decisions, answer complex questions, and generate insights from years of engineering work.

You’ll join the team responsible for the backend systems that make this possible. That means building scalable retrieval pipelines, evolving our AI search infrastructure, integrating structured and unstructured engineering data, and developing the services that power intelligent experiences across the platform.

Over the next year, Operator will expand well beyond conversational search. You’ll help build capabilities like company-wide knowledge retrieval, dynamic reporting, AI-generated dashboards, and personalized engineering insights that become embedded throughout CoLab.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving deep backend problems. You’ll spend far more time thinking about data architecture, search quality, retrieval systems, and scalable services than building user interfaces.

The work is complex and often ambiguous. This role exists because there often isn’t an existing pattern to follow.

Our Ideal Candidate

You’re an experienced backend engineer who enjoys building systems that make complex information useful.

You like thinking about how data is organized, retrieved, and transformed into something customers can trust. Whether you’re designing APIs, optimizing distributed systems, or improving search relevance, you care about building infrastructure that quietly powers exceptional product experiences.

You don’t need previous experience building AI products, but you’re excited about applying modern AI technologies to solve real customer problems.

You likely won’t enjoy this role if:

  • You prefer working primarily on frontend applications
  • You want highly defined requirements before starting work
  • You’d rather optimize existing systems than design entirely new capabilities

You’ll thrive if:

  • You enjoy designing backend systems from first principles
  • You like difficult infrastructure and data problems
  • You’re curious about AI, search, and knowledge systems
  • You balance technical excellence with pragmatism and collaboration

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and build the backend services that power Operator
  • Develop scalable retrieval systems that connect engineering knowledge across design reviews, notebooks, search, and other product surfaces
  • Build APIs and services that enable AI-powered experiences throughout the platform
  • Improve search quality, data pipelines, and knowledge retrieval performance
  • Expand Operator’s capabilities to support intelligent reporting, dashboards, and engineering insights
  • Design systems that organize company knowledge across business units, engineering domains, and manufacturing processes
  • Collaborate closely with AI, Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver customer-facing capabilities
  • Improve reliability, observability, and performance across backend infrastructure
  • Mentor teammates through architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical leadership

Qualifications

  • 7+ years building production backend software
  • Strong experience with Python and modern backend development
  • Experience building APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications
  • Strong understanding of databases, system architecture, and scalable backend design
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data
  • Comfortable making architectural decisions in evolving product environments
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical teammates

Bonus Points

  • Experience building AI-powered applications or LLM workflows
  • Experience with retrieval systems, semantic search, or RAG architectures
  • Experience with vector databases or search infrastructure (TurboPuffer experience is a plus)
  • Experience with embeddings, ranking, or information retrieval
  • Experience with event-driven architectures
  • Experience building enterprise SaaS platforms

The Extra Details

  • This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and stock options
  • We offer extended health benefits, unlimited paid vacation, and RRSP matching
  • Our headquarters are in St. John’s, Newfoundland, with flexible hybrid and remote options. This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Canada.

Equity Note

Frequently cited statistics show that people who identify with historically marginalized groups are likely to apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to help us break that statistic and apply even if you don’t meet every single qualification–your potential is what matters most to us.
